Attic Cleaning and Insulation in Orange County

Rodent debris and old insulation come out with a commercial vacuum, the attic is sanitized, and new insulation goes in only if it's needed.

Chapter 01

What's actually up in your attic

Most people never look up there until something tells them to: a scratching sound, a smell, a stain, or a previous owner's old insulation that nobody trusts. What's usually behind it is rodent activity, and the droppings and nesting debris that go with it, sitting in old insulation that has done its job and then some. None of that is a reason to guess, and none of it means every attic needs a full tear-out.

The first step is a look, not a quote. Someone goes up, sees what's there and tells you whether the attic needs work at all. We cover Anaheim, Irvine, Yorba Linda, Long Beach, San Clemente and the rest of Orange County, and the estimate is free. ABC is family-owned and has been at it for over 15 years. Vacuum out, sanitize, then insulate

When the attic does need work, the debris and old insulation come out with a commercial vacuum. Pest and rodent debris goes with it. That's cleaner and more complete than raking things into a corner, and it leaves a bare floor to work on. It also means the attic can be sanitized and re-insulated on a clean surface instead of on top of what was there.

Next the attic is sanitized with safe, EPA-approved treatments. If the insulation needs replacing, new chip compactor insulation goes in. Before we call it done, we check the attic's ventilation and airflow, because insulation in an attic that can't breathe only moves the problem somewhere else. The visit is priced on what the attic needs, with no hidden fees. Call (714) 253-9515 to book it.

Chapter 03

When Juan says leave the insulation alone

Michelle Galgoci's Google review says Juan Moreno came out to inspect her attic because she was considering having the insulation removed, sanitized and replaced after evidence of old rodent activity. He found no fresh droppings and saw that the newer insulation from the previous owner was still in good condition. Her attic had been through earlier rodent activity, so her worry was reasonable.

He told her to leave it alone, because replacing it would be a waste of money. She wrote that he didn't try to sell her an expensive service. That's how we'd rather work, and it's why the estimate comes first. ABC operates under CSLB License No. 1135877 and is fully insured. Less than a week after the inspection, the same company cleaned her ductwork and dryer vent.

Free estimates, no hidden fees, and an honest answer even when the answer is to leave the attic alone.
